What You’ll Do
- Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric oncology patients, including those receiving chemotherapy, brachytherapy, and clinical trial treatments
- Administer chemotherapy and monitor for adverse reactions
- Assist with specialized procedures like brachytherapy and central line care
- Implement infection prevention protocols and ensure patient safety
- Interpret telemetry readings and manage dysrhythmias
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Document assessments and interventions accurately using EPIC electronic health records
- Perform patient education and support emotional well-being
What You Need
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or eligible for licensure
- Minimum of 2 years Med Surg/Telemetry nursing experience
- Experience with oncology procedures such as chemotherapy administration and brachytherapy preferred
- BLS certification required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Ability to adapt to a rotating schedule and variable shifts
