What You’ll Do:
- Use the Nursing Process to deliver excellent patient care in the Operating Room setting.
- Assess patient needs and implement appropriate care plans pre- and post-surgery.
- Assist in surgical procedures as a circulating or scrub nurse, ensuring a sterile environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure safety.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and state regulations.
- Support quality outcomes and uphold professional standards in all interactions.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to cultural and individual diversity among patients and staff.
What You Need:
- Current Louisiana RN license and BLS certification
- At least 1 year of OR nursing experience
- Strong organizational and delegation skills
- Excellent judgment, interpersonal, and time management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
