What You’ll Do

  • Manage ventilators and titrate cardiac/vasoactive drips

  • Administer IV sedation, blood products, and neuromuscular blockade

  • Interpret dysrhythmias and perform 12-lead EKGs

  • Conduct stroke and neuro care, hypothermia protocols, and infection prevention

  • Monitor patients using advanced GE cardiac monitors and ventilators

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including respiratory, pharmacy, and radiology

  • Support adult patient population with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1



What You Need

  • Active RN license in Ohio or eligible state

  • 2+ years ICU/MICU experience

  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required

  • Strong ventilator management and patient assessment skills



About the Assignment

This position is at a leading facility in Columbus, Ohio. The MICU unit provides specialized care to adult patients, with a focus on neuro and stroke monitoring, cardiac management, and critical care procedures. Floating within the OSU organization may be required based on staffing needs. The unit is well-equipped with advanced technology and support services to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
