  JOB REQUIREMENTS
  

  

        
  • Board: Board Certified in EM (ABEM/AOBEM) or ABMS-recognized specialty with 5 years full-time EM experience in high-volume ED (>30k visits/year)

  •     
  • Licenses: Active unrestricted Indiana Medical License and Indiana State Controlled Substance registration

  •     
  • DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Indiana address, schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4

  •     
  • Certifications: BLS

  •     
  • Experience: EM residency graduates within past 12 months or IM physicians with 5 years continuous full-time EM experience in high-volume ED (>30k annual visits)

  •     
  • Other Qualifications: Case logs for past 2 years, completed CME attestation form, required immunizations (Flu, TB/chest X-ray, COVID-19); must have actual license, board certification, and DEA in hand at time of presentation

  •   

  DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  

  

        
  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care in a high-volume Level III trauma center.

  •     
  • Perform moderate sedation procedures as needed.

  •     
  • Supervise and collaborate with nurse practitioners/physician assistants and scribes.

  •     
  • Manage acute trauma and specialty cases including ENT, orthopedics, GYN, and cardiac patients.

  •     
  • Maintain accurate documentation, case logs, and compliance with CME requirements.

  •
