Description Adelphi is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide private duty nursing services to students with documented health needs at school in Maryland. The ideal candidate will provide one-on-one nursing support to students who require continuous monitoring during the school day and school-sponsored activities. Job Quick Facts: • BD-1434-04 • Profession: Nurse • Specialty: Registered Nurse • Location: Rockville, Maryland • Facility Type: School • Job Type: Contract • Shift Schedule: up to 7 hours/day; specific schedule TBC • Rate: $45/hr Requirements: • Active Maryland RN license • Current CPR and First Aid certifications • Pediatric, school nursing, or private duty nursing experience preferred Responsibilities: • Provide primary nursing care from student bus boarding through school dismissal, when required • Remain available for the student’s health care needs and accompany the student as required • Administer medication and treatments according to the student’s Plan of Care • Provide care that may include catheterization, tracheostomy care, suctioning, oxygen/ventilator care, enteral feedings, diabetic pump/CGM monitoring, and other ordered treatments • Support students during field trips, extracurricular activities, outdoor education, and ESY/summer programs as requested • Coordinate care with school staff and maintain required documentation • Any other duties as assigned within scope * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
