Emergency Medicine-Northeast Florida

• Employed practice seeks a BE/BC Emergency Medicine physician to join their team


• Independent contractor model


• Compensation $240/hour AM, $250/hour Mid and $270/hour night plus bonus


• Earn up to $320/hour


• Production bonus paid quarterly


• Most shifts are 9 & 10 hours with occasional 12-hour shifts (Weekend/Holiday/Night participation expected)


• Procedures: Endotracheal intubation, cricothyroidotomy, chest tube placement, central lines, IO placement, pericardiocentesis, needle thoracotomy, vaginal deliveries, laceration repairs, I&D, FB removal, full eye exam, POCUS/FAST exam and procedural sedation.


• Specialty backup


• No trauma designation


• ED Beds: hospital 30-50 FSED 16-25


• EMR: EPIC with PACS, Dragon dictation and AI scribes


• HUC unit secretary and Tech for splints/IV


• Annual ED volumes range from 20k-65k


• Productivity expectations: 1.6-2.6 pph


• Malpractice with tail


• International airport in town
