Description JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Obstetrics & Gynecology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Topeka, KS • Service Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Coverage Period: 10/01/2026 – 12/31/2026 - Ongoing Extension Possible • Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM • Call Schedule: Shared Call Rotation • Call Type: In-House / Beeper • Call Ratio: 1:6 PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adult Obstetric and Gynecologic Patients • Patient Volume/Census: 25–30 Clinic Patients Per Day • Admissions: Yes • Rounding: Included • Phone Consults: Yes • Case Mix: General OB/GYN, Labor & Delivery, Gynecology, Emergency Cases FACILITY INFORMATION • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: Standard OB/GYN Clinic and OR • Specialty Backup Available: High-Risk OB Transfer Network • Support Staff Available: Scheduling Nurse, Medical Assistant, Additional Clinic Staff PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Rate: TBD • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Vaginal Deliveries • Cesarean Sections • Dilation and Curettage (D&C) • Laparoscopy • General Gynecologic Surgery JOB REQUIREMENTS • Active Kansas Medical License • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology • Active DEA Required • ACLS, BLS, PALS, ATLS • Experience: General OB/GYN Practice • Other Qualifications: Case Logs, CME Certificates, References, Current Physical, Photo, Driver's License Required DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide outpatient OB/GYN clinic coverage • Participate in shared 1:6 call rotation • Perform obstetric and gynecologic procedures • Manage labor and delivery, ER consults, and transfers • Document patient care in Epic * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
