Description Illinois Electrophysiology position - What are you looking for? To build an expand EP services in a well-established Cardiology group in a thriving community? Great base salary? Work / life balance? This job has the total package. You will join an established service line with several Cardiologists and you would be the only EP at the location to replace a departing physician. You will collaborate with 3 experienced EP's only 40 minutes away.Up to $785,000 base salary. Up to $80,000 sign on bonus. The cardiovascular service line consists of 16 hospitals throughout IL and MI, over 55 Cardiologists and surgeons and a 2M catchment area. 650 bed, high volume institution and we currently have waiting periods of several months for an atrial fibrillation ablation. Group of 4 senior electrophysiologists and 4 mid-level providers who work very closely with one another as the dominant EP group in the region. Dedicated EP lab time is 2.5 days a week per physician. Experienced EP staff are familiar with performing all devices: Watchman, complex ablations, epicardial VT ablation and Impella devices. eaching opportunities are available with our University of Illinois cardiovascular fellowship. EP call one week at a time, rotating once every 4 weeks.
