Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries


• Manage emergency and trauma cases within the emergency department


• Perform procedures within scope of practice


• Document patient care using Medhost EMR


• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary emergency care team

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant


• Active Texas license


• Active DEA registration


• NCCPA certification required for Physician Assistants


• Minimum of two years of emergency medicine experience


• Current ACLS and ATLS certifications
