Description Job Description & Requirements Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $106.70 - $115.50 This facility is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need. Details and requirements for this opportunity: Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts, with potential call and 24-hour shifts. Practice Setting: Inpatient. Types of Cases: Cardiothoracic surgery, pre-operative exams, rounding, surgery assistance, coordination of care, central line and arterial line placement, endoscopic retrieval. Credentialing Timeframe: Start targeted by mid-to-late July. Electronic Medical Record: Epic. Certifications Required: National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Licensure Required: Active Connecticut license.
