Description

General Dentist | Four-Day Workweek | Eastern Washington

If you enjoy broad-scope dentistry but want more predictability than a traditional production-driven practice, this Eastern Washington opportunity offers a four-day week, no call, and a $160,000–$200,000 base with meaningful incentive upside. Choose between an established, busy clinic in the Columbia Basin or a newer integrated practice in the Tri-Cities area, both backed by a stable team and a mission centered on access to care.

Position Details

·     Four-day schedule, generally 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

·     No call, regular weekends, or holiday clinic coverage.

·     Approximately 16–26 completed patient visits per clinical day.

·     Patient mix is approximately 60% adults and 40% children.

·     Broad procedures include restorative care, extractions, endodontics, and dentures.

·     Collaborative dental and interdisciplinary teams support coordinated patient care.

·     Established-site option includes 20 operatories and Dentrix.

·     Additional clinical pathways may include pediatrics, orthodontics, or implants after approved training and credentialing.

Compensation & Benefits

·     Base salary: $160,000–$200,000 annually.

·     Productivity: $30 per encounter above 3,200 annual encounters; current providers have historically averaged approximately $45,000–$60,000 in annual incentive earnings on top of base.

·     Recruitment support: $25,000 sign-on bonus and $10,000 relocation assistance.

·     Student loans: $500 per month in employer support, plus potential eligibility for state or national loan-repayment programs.

·     Time away and CME: 24 PTO days, nine paid holidays, 40 CME hours, and a $2,500 CME allowance.

·     Professional coverage: Malpractice insurance and support for license, dues, and subscriptions.

·     Health and protection: Medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, disability coverage, FSA, and EAP.

·     Retirement: 100% match up to 4% with day-one vesting, plus a possible discretionary 4% non-elective contribution.

Qualifications

·     DDS or DMD from an accredited dental program.

·     Active Washington dental license, or ability to obtain it before practice.

·     DEA registration.

·     Current CPR certification, or ability to obtain it in the required timeframe.

·     Required AIDS education, or ability to complete it in the required timeframe.

·     Sound clinical judgment and ability to practice to ADA standards.

·     Clear written and verbal communication with patients and care teams.

·     Spanish is helpful but is not listed as a required qualification.

Surrounding Area

·     A close-knit, family-oriented community with a relaxed daily pace.

·     Housing and everyday living can offer more purchasing power than larger Washington metros; candidates should compare current costs for their household.

·     Nearby lakes, reservoirs, and public lands support fishing, boating, hiking, hunting, and birding.

·     The region’s dry, sunny climate creates a long outdoor season.

·     Regional shopping, dining, and services are available in Moses Lake and the Tri-Cities, with Seattle and Spokane accessible for longer weekends.

·     Strong agricultural roots, multicultural community events, and local traditions create a distinctive sense of place.
