Description
Locums -A rural critical access hospital is seeking a Hospitalist physician to provide urgent inpatient coverage in northwestern Pennsylvania.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Hospitalist Physician
- Urgent coverage needed July 31 - August 7, 2026
- 24-hour onsite coverage (12p-12p) with approximately 12-15 hours of clinical work and overnight onsite call
- Average daily census of 16 patients with approximately 18 patient encounters per day
- Manage inpatient admissions, rounding, ICU patients, swing beds, and overnight call responsibilities
- Must be comfortable with central lines, emergent intubations, rapid sequence intubation (RSI), and ventilator management
- EMR Meditech Expanse with Dragon/Nuance dictation
- Active PA license, DEA, ACLS, recent case logs, clean background for temp privs
- Competitive rate, mileage, lodging, malpractice provided
