CVICU Registered Nurse – Columbus, Ohio

- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

- Licensure/Certs: BLS, ACLS required; ICU experience preferred
- Experience: 2+ years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred
Pay & Benefits:
- Hourly pay rate: $59.18

What You’ll Do:
- Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac ICU patients, including those on ventilators, Swan-Ganz catheters, and balloon pumps
- Monitor patient status using telemetry (Tele) and other advanced equipment
- Administer conscious sedation and manage IV starts, PA lines, and vents
- Float within units of similar or lower acuity as needed
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in EPIC electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes
What You Need:
Required:
- Valid Ohio Registered Nurse license or the ability to obtain one
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience
- Strong skills in IV starts, telemetry, vents, Swan-Ganz, conscious sedation, and PA lines
- EPIC experience
Preferred:
- Previous travel nursing experience
