- Licenses/Certifications: Active Louisiana RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CSFA or CSA certification (preferred)
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years OR experience, robotic surgery preferred
Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $50.92/hour

What You’ll Do
- Provide perioperative nursing care in a busy OR environment with a variety of case types, including robotic, bariatric, neuro-spine, neuro-vascular, urology, and transplants
- Circulate during surgeries; scrub if certification and experience permit
- Support multiple specialized teams, including transplant, neuro, and general surgery
- Assist with patient care before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and compliance
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Follow unit protocols, including EMR documentation and equipment management
- Participate in holiday and weekend call rotations as scheduled
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Louisiana RN license
- 2+ years OR nursing experience in acute care
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications
- Experience with robotic surgeries (Da Vinci system) and complex procedures such as neuro, transplant, and bariatric surgeries
- Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
Preferred:
- Transplant and cardio-thoracic experience
- CSFA or CSA certification
- Experienced in Meditech Expanse EMR and Alaris IV pumps
