Registered Nurse – PCU Specialty – Columbus, OH

- Experience: Minimum 2 years in PCU or Med Surg units

What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct nursing care in a busy surgical Oncology PCU
- Monitor adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses such as breast, thyroid, melanoma, hepatobiliary cancers, colorectal cancers, and reconstructive surgeries
- Administer chemotherapy, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, and other medications
- Manage oncologic emergencies and cytokine release syndromes
- Follow infection prevention protocols and fall prevention measures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health record system
- Adapt to floating within your scope of practice as needed
What You Need:
- Valid Ohio RN license or eligibility to work in Ohio
- Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU or Med Surg experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications (required)
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to variable scheduling

You will support a busy surgical oncology unit, handling a variety of complex cases including chemotherapy administration and emergent care. The shift involves working nights with flexible scheduling to meet unit needs.
