Location: near Portland, OR

Details:
•  Duration: As soon as credentialed October – ongoing 6-12 month assignment
•  Schedule: Full-time preferred (may consider 2-4 weeks/month)
•  Shift: Tuesday-Friday, 8a-5p - 4 days/week (1-2 days in the OR and other days in clinic)
•  Call: 1 weekend a month + 1-2 weekday call days
•  Scope: NP/PA Orthopedic Surgery – mix of clinic and ORS first assist (total joints, general ortho, fracture, joint injection, knees, hips, shoulders; NO spine)
•  Volume: 20-25 per day in clinic
•  Ages: majority adult-elderly with some peds
•  EMR: Cerner
•  Group: 2 APPs work with all 3 ORS surgeons. (ED team handles fractures/dislocations, some emergent surgical cases referred out). All surgeons have sports medicine fellowship, but their practice is general ortho with high concentration of total joints. No spine. X-ray in clinic, rehab in the same building; OR has a Maco robot.
•  Hospital: level 3 trauma, 25 bed critical access
•  Credentialing: 60-90 days
•  Require: BC, 2+ years’ experience as APP ORS clinic + first assist experience, OR License (open to license 30 days to obtain)
