Description

  • Specialty:
        
    • Emergency Medicine   
    • Will take ABEM, IM or FM 
      
  • Coverage Needs:
        
    • Need ASAP - Ongoing  
    • Must be able to cover 5+ shifts per month
      
  • Shifts: 
        
    • 7a-7p, 7p-7a
      
  • Setting: 
        
    • 25 bed acute care facility  
    • Level IV Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center  
    • ICU and labor-and-delivery units are currently closed  
    • 15 treatment beds and eight fast-track beds, with dedicated X-ray and laboratory services
      
  • Census:
        
    • 22,400 emergency department visits annually  
    • 61 visits per day
      
  • Support Staff: 
        
    • Full support staff and multiple ED MDs on staff
      
  • Procedures: 
        
    • All Standard ER procedures   
    • Common medical needs include diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, cancer, stroke and kidney disease
      
  • EMR: 
        
    • EPIC
      
  • Board Certification: 
        
    • Board Certified Required 
      
  • Travel: 
        
    • Hospital will cover
      
  • Credentialing timeline:
        
    • Expedited Onboarding hoping for ASAP start 
      
  • Requirements:
        
    • Active MI state license or compact license   
    • Active DEA in MI or willing to transfer   
    • ATLS, ACLS, PALS
