What You’ll Do
- Provide optimal perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting
- Assist during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments
- Follow strict infection control protocols and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and staff for seamless operations
- Document patient care activities accurately and promptly
- Monitor and respond to patient needs during procedures
What You Need
- Required: Active Massachusetts RN license, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years OR experience
- Preferred: Surgical tech certifications, experience with diverse surgical cases
- Key skills: Attention to detail, excellent communication, ability to work independently and in a team
About the Assignment
This assignment is with a prominent healthcare provider in Pittsfield, focused on delivering exceptional surgical care. Please note, Berkshire Health System will not consider any traveler residing within 50 miles of the facility. Applicants must include their proper licensure documentation upon submission and indicate availability for five 8-hour shifts per week. Requested time off must be declared upfront, with a maximum of 5 days of RTO accepted.
