We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This vital role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, delivering critical nursing services to diverse patient populations facing complex conditions such as respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, DKA, and post-interventional care. Hourly Pay Rate: $50.25

Required Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of current RN experience in acute care settings
- Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
- Proficiency in managing CVLs, Foley catheters, tube feedings, arterial lines, and insulin drips
- Strong clinical skills in respiratory, cardiovascular, and diabetic management
- Ability to maintain patient ratios of 1:3 in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Capable of working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR system
- Knowledge of PICC/midline placement
- Experience supporting stroke or medical-surgical units
- Flexibility to float to adjacent units as needed
- Bilingual abilities or additional certifications are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Active RN license
- At least 2 years of recent experience in a similar acute care facility
- Prior experience working with complex medical cases and ventilated patients
Other Requirements:
- Must be separated from previous employment for at least 1 year if previously a permanent staff nurse
- Availability to start on 05/04/2026
- Ability to work scheduled shifts including every other weekend, with 4-day and 3-day workweeks
- Willingness to work holidays as required (2/3 major holidays)
- Professional appearance and conduct are mandatory; adherence to dress code and safety protocols
- No on-call duties; scheduled days off must be respected
- Scrub color: Pewter; optional gray, white, or black T-shirts with WK monogram; gray or black jackets
