  • Specialty:
        
    • Hospitalist (Nocturnist)
      
  • Coverage Needs:
        
    • Need October - Ongoing  
    • 7 - 10 shifts per month  
    • Have a strong need for 12/23 - 1/3 
      
  • Shifts: 
        
    • 7p-7a
      
  • Setting: 
        
    • Admitting shift only   
    • Open ICU model  
    • 391 beds
      
  • Support: 
        
    • 2 Nocturnist per night   
    • 1-2 swing shift on until 11  
    • Will have teleheath support from Intensivists   
    • Resp therapy/IV team, etc 
      
  • Census:
        
    • Avg 8 admissions/night (+4 pager calls)
      
  • Procedures:
        
    • Procedures not required   
    • Will need to manage ICU patients/attend codes 
      
  • EMR: 
        
    • EPIC w/ Dragon
      
  • Board Certification: 
        
    • BC/BE Required 
      
  • Travel: 
        
    • Hospital will cover
      
  • Credentialing timeline:
        
    • Can fast track for ASAP start 
      
  • Requirements:
        
    • Active NY state license  
    • Active DEA in NY or willing to transfer   
    • ACLS, BLS
