Georgia Medical Staffing is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist to join the Fargo VA Health Care System providing exceptional care to our nation's Veterans. Position Highlights
$260–$290/hour based on experience
Monday–Friday schedule
40-hour work week
No nights
No weekends
No call responsibilities

Responsibilities

The physician will provide comprehensive urologic care including:

Outpatient clinic evaluations
Inpatient consultations and rounding
Surgical management of urologic conditions
Cystoscopies
Vasectomies
Ureteroscopies
Scrotal procedures
Transurethral surgery for prostate disease and bladder cancer
General urologic surgery
Specialty VA examinations related to urology
Patient education and follow-up care

Experience with the following is preferred:

Holmium Laser
ESWL
Fluoroscopy
Robotic Surgery (preferred but not required)

The physician should be comfortable performing procedures involving the kidneys, bladder, ureters, urethra, prostate, testes, scrotum, penis, epididymis, and endoscopic urologic surgery.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
Minimum two years of post-residency experience
Active unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state
North Dakota license preferred but not required
Active DEA registration
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
NPI number
Ability to obtain VA credentialing and privileges

Completion of an accredited Urology residency with at least three years devoted to urologic surgery is required.
