Registered Nurse – PCU Specialty – Columbus, OH

  • Shift: Day (07:00 – 19:30) or Night (19:00 – 07:30), 12-hour shifts

  • Schedule: 3 days per week, full-time hours (36/week)

  • Employment Type: Contract / Travel

  • Licenses/Certifications: Ohio RN license, BLS, ACLS required

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in PCU setting, EPIC experience, telehealth experience preferred

What You’ll Do:


  • Provide skilled nursing care for patients in a Progressive Care Unit with complex needs such as SBO, falls, lacerations, PNA, head injury, TBI, trauma, ileus, fistulas, and fractures

  • Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status using EPIC electronic health records

  • Administer medications and IV therapy following hospital protocols

  • Perform patient assessments, labs, and patient education

  • Respond to patient needs and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes

  • Maintain accurate documentation and provide a safe, compassionate environment for patients





What You Need:


  • Valid Ohio RN license and BLS, ACLS certifications

  • At least 2 years of recent PCU experience in an acute care setting

  • EPIC electronic health record proficiency required

  • Strong clinical skills in IV starts, patient monitoring, medication administration, and labs

  • Excellent patient communication and teamwork skills
