We are looking for an independent, detail-oriented professional to lead the gross room and work hand-in-hand with our world-class Pathologists. What You’ll Do: - Master the Gross Room: Take ownership of gross dictation and examination for all surgical specimens.
- Visual Documentation: Capture high-quality specimen photography for critical diagnostic records.
- Advanced Coordination: Prepare complex tissue samples for specialized testing, including lymphoma phenotyping and quantitative studies.
- Safety & Compliance: Champion a culture of lab safety and data integrity, ensuring every patient’s information is protected.
Who You Are: - Certified Expert: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pathologists’ Assistant studies and are ASCP certified (or equivalent/CLIA eligible).
- Experienced or Emerging: You have 2+ years of experience OR you are a PA student nearing the completion of your formal training program.
- Continuous Learner: You stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with procedural changes and evolving laboratory best practices.
Location: On-site (Collaborative Lab Environment)
