What You’ll Do
- Provide direct patient care for oncology and med-surg patients, including those with chemotherapy needs
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret dysrhythmias using GE telemetry systems
- Assess and manage vascular access devices, including ports, PICC lines, and arterial lines
- Administer blood products and nursing medications
- Assist with chest tube insertions and removals, and manage high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) oxygen therapy
- Follow infection prevention protocols and promote patient safety, including fall prevention strategies
- Document patient care accurately in EPIC electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient treatment plans and symptom management
What You Need
- Valid Ohio RN license and BCLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of relevant RN experience, preferably in a travel setting
- Proficiency in EPIC and telemetry monitoring
- Skills in vascular access, blood product administration, and advanced patient assessment
- Ability to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
