Behavioral Therapist (2 Openings)

Lovington, New Mexico

Position Highlights

  • Work-Life Balance: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with the option for a 4-day schedule (Tuesday–Friday). Manageable patient volumes averaging 5–6 patients per day with built-in documentation time as caseloads develop.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation: Approximately $37.50/hour, with final compensation range pending.
  • Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 available as either a sign-on bonus or a student loan bridge program.
  • Student Loan Repayment Assistance: Up to $20,000 student loan bridge available in lieu of a sign-on bonus, plus eligibility for New Mexico's State Student Loan Forgiveness Program.
  • Professional Growth: Opportunity to practice within a growing behavioral health program utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and psychotherapy while collaborating with experienced providers.

Qualifications

  • Degree: Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field (implied by required licensure).
  • Certifications: CBT, EMDR, and psychotherapy training or certifications preferred.
  • Licensure: Must hold or be eligible for New Mexico licensure. Client will consider LMHC, LAMFT, LMSW, LPCC, LMFT, and LCSW candidates.
  • Skillset: Experience providing outpatient behavioral health services, including CBT, EMDR, psychotherapy, and strong clinical assessment skills. Bilingual candidates preferred.
  • Experience: Experienced behavioral therapists are strongly preferred; new graduates will be considered but are not the priority.
  • Sponsorship: Not specified.
