Our client in New York is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 16-day assignment starting Sep 9, 2026. This role involves serving as the sole provider in a primary care clinic, focusing on acute cases, in-office procedures, and comprehensive family practice duties, including work compensation cases and front office tasks when necessary.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as the sole provider in a primary care clinic, caring for employees and their family members.
  • Handle front office duties and blood draws if the Medical Assistant is unavailable.
  • Manage normal family practice offices, primarily focusing on acute cases.
  • Address possible workman's compensation cases, leveraging general knowledge in this area.
  • Perform in-office procedures including mole removal, sutures, cyst removal, and in-grown toenail procedures.
  • Conduct paps and well-woman exams.
  • Exhibit experience with Work Compensation cases in the state of New York.
