  • Experience: Previous experience in mental health settings preferred

What You’ll Do:


  • Conduct mental health screenings and assessments using available records and clinical interviews with inmates

  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on client needs and functioning levels

  • Document all treatment activities and assessments accurately in electronic health records

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and materials at all times

  • Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques to support inmates’ mental health needs

  • Provide mental health evaluations, counseling, and crisis interventions as required

  • Collaborate with the team to ensure comprehensive mental health care



What You Need:


  • Current and active California LCSW or LPCC license

  • Minimum 2 years of mental health experience in clinical or correctional settings preferred

  • Knowledge of psychological assessment tools, crisis intervention, and counseling techniques

  • Strong communication skills and ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
