Description Urologist Physician (MD/DO) Location: Columbia VA Health Care System | 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-min unpaid lunch) + Rotating Call (Weeknights, Weekends, Holidays) Compensation: Up to $565,000 / year (equivalent to $295 / hour) Employment Type: Full-Time Contract ________________________________________ Position Overview JR Enterprise, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Urologist Physician (MD or DO) to deliver exceptional clinical and surgical care to our nation's Veterans at the Columbia VA Health Care System in Columbia, South Carolina. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage a wide spectrum of urological conditions as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare team committed to patient-centered excellence. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Comprehensive Clinical Care: Provide complete diagnostic, consultative, and therapeutic services, including preoperative and postoperative management. • Surgical Procedures: Perform both minor in-clinic procedures and major urological surgical operations as clinically indicated. • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain prompt, thorough, and accurate electronic medical records in full compliance with VA policies and federal standards. • Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. • Call Coverage: Participate in scheduled call rotation (weeknights, weekends, and holidays) as required. • Quality Improvement: Engaged participation in facility peer reviews, quality assurance initiatives, and ongoing continuing medical education (CME). ________________________________________ Qualifications & Requirements Basic Requirements: • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of medicine (MD or DO). • Licensure: Hold an active, current, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, or the District of Columbia. • Certifications: Active BLS and ACLS certifications. • Registrations: Active NPI and an unrestricted DEA registration.
