- Experience: Minimum 1 year inpatient dialysis experience; first-time travelers need 2 years acute care RN experience

What You’ll Do:
- Provide dialysis treatment to patients on hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis
- Access fistulas and catheters, ensuring proper clinical procedures
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to clinical changes
- Travel between multiple facilities with diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver safe, effective care
- Complete documentation accurately in the EMR system (Meditech Expanse)
- Support unit charge nurses in daily operations and patient management
What You Need:
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- 1 year of inpatient dialysis experience; 2 years for first-time travelers
- Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to arrival
- Strong critical thinking and autonomous work skills
- Experience with BBraun dialysis machines and vascular access procedures
- Willingness to travel between facilities as scheduled
About the Assignment:
This assignment is based in a prominent facility in Shreveport, LA, specializing in dialysis services with multiple locations within 15–30 minutes. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a dedicated team, supporting both acute and chronic dialysis patients. The schedule includes mandatory 4-week cycles, with flexible weekend rotations and holiday coverage as outlined. Orientation includes two days at the facility, and staff are supported with scrubs, parking, and a collaborative culture.
