What You’ll Do:
- Provide critical respiratory care across multiple treatment areas, including ED, ICU, Stepdown, Med/Tele, and High-Risk L&D
- Support NICU/PICU patients, including high-risk neonates and ventilator management
- Administer inhaled medications and manage airway and ventilator equipment such as Servo, Trilogy, V60, and NICU oscillators
- Perform ABG puncture and analysis, non-invasive ventilation, and rapid response procedures
- Support high-risk deliveries, including neonatal intubation when necessary
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
What You Need:
- Valid Louisiana State Respiratory Therapist license
- NBRC certification (RT credential)
- BLS and NRP certifications; ACLS and PALS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of ICU, NICU, or high-risk delivery experience
- Ability to support high-risk neonates and support NICU/PICU patients
- Strong airway management and ventilator skills, including neonatal intubation and ABG analysis
- Comfort with floating across multiple campuses and handling ICU and delivery room emergencies
