Description Location: One hour from Oklahoma City (Inquire for specific location) Duration: September 28, 2026 – for 6 month locums (option to extend) Reason for coverage: Vacancy 1 FTE relocating end of Sep and another moving to Admin Med Director Role Schedule: Full-time preferred, 7on / 7 off Shift: Monday-Sunday, 7a-7p + rotating call Call: Rotating call 1:3 Monday-Sunday, 7p-7a (pager call, rare to report onsite but typically happens 1-2x month total) Volume: average daily census 50-65 patients. For Hospitalist team of 3 average per day 17-25 patients (seasonality plays a factor in volume) Scope: IM Hospitalist - Admissions, Rounding, responds to codes (procedures aren’t required but there’s an option for them to perform this if desired) EMR: Meditech Hospital: Level 3 trauma, 117 beds total. IM Residency Program. Open ICU 14 bed ICU, 6 Bed Stepdown unit Group/support: 6 Hospitalist total, split into 2 teams of 3 MD/DO’s, Residents will be inhouse, Intensivist in ICU, specialty does admits; no APP Requirements (boards, license): BC in Internal Medicine ABIM (no family medicine), Active OK License (OBNDD/OK DEA preferred), clean NPDB preferred
