Schedule & Model
•  12 hour shifts
•  Days and a rotation of Nights per month
•  Medical Director works closely with physicians to build flexible schedules, No fixed 7-on / 7-off rotation
Clinical Environment
•  Start the day with 1–12 patients- a max of approx.17 total patients daily per Provider per day
•  Admissions handled round-robin along with APP coverage assistance
•  One hospitalist manages transfers from 4 surrounding hospitals
•  Open ICU
•  ICU cases primarily pulmonary (COPD, respiratory illness)
•  Strong pulmonary consult team
Candidate Profile
•  Internal Medicine preferred
•  Strong Family Medicine physicians will be considered, especially with procedural experience
•  Preference for seasoned physicians comfortable in higher-acuity settings
•  Ideal candidates include physicians who originally pursued Pulm/CC but did not match fellowship
Compensation
•  Very Competitive Pay- Base $367,200.00 plus benefits.
•  If you work over 15 shifts per month you will receive an additional compensation per each additional shift! This a huge opportunity to make additional income!!!
•  this is a Permanent position, and you most sign a 1 year agreement with the Hospital.
•  Additional earning potential with working over the regular 170 hours per month requirement
•  Can provide a detailed breakdown of rates and contract information

Skills

•     3+ Years of experience in a Hospital setting as a FT Hospitalist
•     WV licensed preferred
