All Star Recruiting is contracted with a facility in North Carolina seeking an NP/PA Hospitalists for locum coverage.

• Inpatient only


• Established team of 2 Physicians and 2 Physician Assistants


• 19-bed critical access hospital with only general med-surg beds, NO ICU or stepdown


• Specialty consultation available including general surgery, orthopedics, cardiology, urology, and tele stroke.


• Provider is responsible for the currently admitted patients and admissions from the Emergency Department


• ACLS certification required


• Responds to Codes


• Procedures: Preliminary EKG interpretation, interpretation of ABGs, etc


• Average Total Inpatient Census: 12-18


• Average # of patients/day/provider: 8-14


• Average # of admissions/day: 4


• Average # of admissions/night: 4


• No ICU/Critical Care Duties


• System-wide EMR (EPIC)
