What You’ll Do:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to ER patients, including assessment, planning, and implementation of treatment plans
- Utilize the nursing process effectively to evaluate patient needs and deliver appropriate interventions
- Communicate and coordinate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
- Educate patients and families about treatments and procedures, respecting diverse learning needs
- Manage multiple patient cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Document care accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and standards
What You Need:
- Current RN license in Louisiana
- Minimum of 2 years ER nursing experience
- BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare setting
