  • Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 – 19:30) / Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)

  • Employment Type: Contract

  • Licenses/Certifications: BLS, ACLS (required); ONS Chemo, NIHSS (preferred)

  • Experience: 2+ years in acute care nursing, with at least 1 year in PCU or similar setting

What You’ll Do

  • Provide specialized care for adult patients with acute leukemia and hematological conditions

  • Manages patients with complex needs, including infection prevention and fall risks

  • Monitor telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond to Rapid Response Teams

  • Administer medications and blood products; manage IV therapy and PICC lines

  • Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic charting

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

  • Follow protocols for infection control, patient safety, and fall prevention


What You Need

Required:


  • Ohio RN License

  • BLS and ACLS certifications

  • 2+ years of recent acute care nursing experience, including 1+ year in PCU or telemetry units

  • Proficiency with MS/Tele, telemetry monitoring, and dysrhythmia interpretation

  • Experience with IV therapy, blood products, and central line care



Preferred:


  • ONS Chemo Certification

  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) monitoring skills
