Description Baton Rouge, LA <ul> <li>Full Time</li><li>Hours: Flexible weekday schedule</li> <li>Employed</li> <li>New Graduates</li> <li>Average Patients seen: 22 patients Monday - Thursday, 11 patients on Friday, 6 patients on Saturday to allow for walk-ins</li> <li>Call Schedule: 1 month of primary call and 6 months of back up call to an NP or PA on primary call.</li> <li>Loan Repayment</li> <li>Compensation: Negotiable</li> <li>Benefits: - Loan repayment through NHSC - $1,500 continuing education allowance plus 5 days - $500 professional membership - 3 weeks of PTO - 13 paid holidays - 401k with a 3% match - $25,000 life insurance policy - Paid cancer insurance policy - Medical and Dental - Vision EE paid - Critical Illness, Accident, and Whole Life - EE paid - Short- and Long-Term Disability</li> <li>Additional Info: - Responsible for providing direct patient care, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic illnesses. - Perform responsibilities with a high-quality standard to yield improved compliance, quality, and patient outcome measures - Supervision of students. - Diagnosis and treatment of patients. - Perform EKG and pulmonary function test interpretation. - Non-invasive evaluation of gynecologic patients. - Treatment of uncomplicated dermatological conditions. - Treatment of acute back and neck pain, bursitis, tendonitis, tennis elbow, joint aspirations, abscess, etc. - Perform excision and removal of foreign bodies from eyes and ears. - Perform suturing of simple lacerations.
