What You’ll Do
- Provide urgent and elective Cardiothoracic surgical care, including CABG, arterial revascularization, and valve surgery
- Perform redo coronary revascularization and pericardial window procedures
- Manage adult patients in a hospital-based setting with a focus on trauma level 2 cases
- Collaborate with support staff, including three Physician Assistants
- Document procedures accurately in EPIC EMR system
- Cover approximately 10-14 call days per month
- Participate in hospital rounds and emergency procedures as needed
What You Need
- Required:
- Valid medical license in Ohio or ability to obtain
- Board certification in Surgery with a specialty in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Minimum 2 years of relevant surgical experience
- Proficiency in CABG, valve repairs, and redo revascularizations
- Preferred:
- Experience with trauma cases and adult patient populations
