We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 30-day assignment in Illinois, commencing Sep 14, 2026. This role involves working 8:00am - 4:30pm, focusing on comprehensive primary, chronic, and preventative care. Responsibilities include managing sick calls, conducting patient rounds, performing minor procedures, and addressing a wide range of patient needs from routine follow-ups to acute presentations and high acuity cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct sick call and patient rounding
• Manage chronic and preventative care procedures and follow-ups
• Facilitate preventative care clinics
• Perform infirmary rounds for internal medicine cases as required
• Execute trauma triage
• Accurately chart patient notes and manage medication refills
• Handle morning PA/NP lines, including suture removal and follow-ups
• Address medication non-compliance with patients
• Provide care for bread and butter primary care cases
• Manage chronic conditions such as asthma, hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia
• Conduct preventative care, including annual physical exams
• Address sick call presentations like runny nose, headaches, and back pain
• Assist with high acuity cases
• Sutures and splinting capabilities are a plus
