What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations
- Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans using the nursing process
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Administer medications and treatments according to hospital protocols
- Document patient care and progress accurately in electronic medical records
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations and code blue events
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
What You Need
- Current Louisiana RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience
- BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks involving lifting and moving patients
