  • Shift: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM; On-Call 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Weekdays); Sat 7:00 AM – Mon 7:00 AM (Weekends)

  • Hours/Week: Full-time schedule

  • Employment Type: Locum

  • License/Certifications: State medical license, ACLS/BLS required

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in Interventional Cardiology

What You’ll Do

  • Provide inpatient cardiology consultations and procedures, including balloon angioplasties, PCI, heart catheterizations, and carotid stenting

  • Manage vascular disease and perform diagnostic angiograms

  • Assist with call coverage, including emergent STEMI responses

  • Collaborate with a team of interventional cardiologists and healthcare providers

  • Document procedures and patient encounters efficiently in EPIC EMR

  • Participate in rounding and provide coverage as needed in a busy hospital setting


What You Need

  • Valid Virginia medical license or eligibility for emergency/temporary privileges

  • Board certification in Interventional Cardiology

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience

  • Proficiency in coronary angioplasty, embolic protection, and other interventional procedures

  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
