- Experience: Recent Oncology cancer inpatient experience preferred, minimum 1 year
Pay & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $60.30/hour

What You’ll Do:
- Provide specialized nursing care to oncology and hematology patients, including those undergoing Bone Marrow Transplant, Hematology Medical Oncology, and Gynecologic & Surgical Oncology.
- Assist with bedside CVC placements and bone marrow biopsies using Epic-integrated equipment.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses using barcode medication administration and IV pumps.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
- Support weekend coverage on a rotating basis, as required.
What You Need:
- Current and active RN license for Louisiana or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- At least 1 year of recent inpatient oncology nursing experience
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills

This assignment is at a respected healthcare facility in New Orleans, serving patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions. The unit features a 7-bed positive pressure environment for Bone Marrow Transplant and leukemia patients, necessitating skilled and compassionate nursing care.
