What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for a diverse patient population with multiple diagnoses, including respiratory issues, sepsis, and co-morbidities
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient progress
- Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
- Document patient history, symptoms, and care accurately in compliance with standards
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about treatments and health management
- Demonstrate clinical independence while adhering to facility policies and standards
What You Need
Required:
- Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications
- Valid RN license in Texas or a license by reciprocity (compact license)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in critical care or inpatient med-surg/telemetry units
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience managing patients with complex co-morbidities and acute conditions
