What You’ll Do
- Provide routine and complex nursing care in a MedSurg/IMC setting, including telemetry and neuro, respiratory, cardiac, GI, and other specialties
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness
- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
- Assess and educate patients and families, addressing their psychological, emotional, and social needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Demonstrate independence while making appropriate clinical judgments
- Delegate tasks effectively to care team members
What You Need
- Current RN license in Texas or a valid compact license
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA; NIH required
- Strong clinical skills in telemetry and IMC/MedSurg care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
