What You’ll Do
- Deliver nursing care using the nursing process for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures
- Assess patient learning needs and effectively educate patients and their families
- Communicate and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Manage resources effectively, including delegating tasks within the nursing team
- Use data and clinical knowledge to evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans
- Promote patient satisfaction, safety, and privacy throughout care delivery
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently
What You Need
- Current Louisiana RN license in good standing
- BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- 2+ years of clinical experience in specialty nursing field preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse patient populations and clinical scenarios
