What You’ll Do:
- Effectively screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders
- Develop and implement personalized care plans following regulatory standards
- Administer skilled rehabilitative therapies including ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatments accordingly
- Document all assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the electronic health record
- Provide consultation to patients, families, and caregivers, supporting optimal recovery
- Support and supervise occupational therapy assistants and therapy aides as needed
- Participate in team meetings, care conferences, and required trainings
What You Need:
- Valid Missouri Occupational Therapist license and NBCOT certification
- 1+ years of experience in Long Term Care settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
