What You’ll Do
- Assist patients with routines of rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments in a Long Term Care setting
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices
- Assess patient progress and communicate updates to supervising Physical Therapist
- Document all clinical activities accurately in electronic health records
- Provide patient and family education on treatment plans and progress
- Support supervision of students and support staff as needed
- Comply with all regulatory, clinical, and ethical standards
What You Need
- Active Massachusetts PTA license
- Prior experience in Long Term Care or similar setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under supervision and support team goals
