Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA)


StartDate: ASAP

Pay Rate: $106.70 - $115.50



This facility is seeking a Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

  • Schedule: ASAP ongoing; 7 days on/7 days off. Shifts are 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. No call coverage.
  • Practice Setting: Inpatient; 100% inpatient floor coverage with no operating room responsibilities.
  • Types of Cases: Neurosurgical inpatient management including post-operative care, neurocritical care, trauma, spinal and cranial neurosurgery patients. Coverage includes the Medical Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, and Emergency Department.
  • Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days.
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Cerner.
  • Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
  • Licensure Required: Montana license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) eligibility/license.

Situated between Denver and Calgary, Billings is the county seat of Yellowstone County. The city offers residents the beautiful scenery that Montana is known for, not to mention a wide range of outdoors activities for those who are so inclined. The city boast many natural and regional points of interest, including Pompey's Pillar, Pictograph Cave and the Yellow Stone Art Museum. Sports fans will be right at home in Billings, with Pioneer League baseball and Tier III hockey options.
