Job Overview
- September 1, 2026 start – ongoing until the facility is fully staffed
- Minimum availability of 5 shifts per month
- 12-hour shifts:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 3–6 weeks
- Facility may assist with emergency privileges
- Location: San Jose, CA 95124
- Setting: Inpatient
- Hospital size: 329 staffed beds
- Trauma designation: Not a designated trauma center
- ICU beds: 40
- ICU model: Open ICU that operates as a closed ICU, with intensivists serving as the admitting physicians
- Physician-only coverage model with no APP support
- Locum physician will work independently
- Average daily census per provider:
- Days: Approximately 12 patients
- Nights: Approximately 15–19 patients
