Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner – Boston, MA

- Shift: 3x 13-hour day shifts (6:00 AM – 7:00 PM), no nights, no holidays

- License/Certifications: MA License, BC in Neurosurgery
- Experience: Minimum 1 year neurosurgery experience
- Patient Age Group: Pediatrics and adult neurosurgical patients

What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with residents on inpatient neurosurgery rounds
- Review, update, and place orders for neurosurgical patients
- Assist in discharge planning and patient management
- Remove drains such as Hemovac and JP drains (preferred)
- Provide patient care exclusively, no OR responsibilities
- Support the neurosurgery team with inpatient care for pediatric and adult patients
- Work within an Epic electronic health record environment
What You Need:
- Board Certification in Neurosurgery (BC required)
- Massachusetts State License
- Minimum 1 year neuro surgery experience
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Strong communication and patient care skills
