What You’ll Do
- Provide critical care to adult and geriatric patients in the MICU.
- Manage ventilated patients, administer complex medications, and perform advanced procedures like pulmonary artery catheter placement and CRRT.
- Monitor patients using cardiac and arterial pressure monitoring equipment.
- Conduct patient assessments and document using EPIC electronic health records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Carry out treatments such as chest tube management, bedside procedures, and clinical trial protocols.
- Respond effectively to emergencies including sepsis, respiratory failure, and drug overdoses.
What You Need
Required:
- Ohio RN license
- ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications
- 2+ years ICU experience, with ventilator and IV start skills essential
- Proficiency in computerized charting (EPIC experience preferred)
Preferred:
- Experience with complex medical conditions and procedures in a high-acuity unit
